Welcome to How to Save an Earth! This blog is a place for discussion and opinion on all things environmental. I aim to discuss all aspects of the environmental crisis’ facing our planet, their causes and what we can be, should be and are doing to save the world! Commentary covers all aspects of this issue from political opinion to corporate greenwashing and analysis of proposed environmental solutions.
A little background; I am a student at the University of Queensland in Australia, studying a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management (Sustainable Development major). I have a passion for the enviroment, but believe their is a fundamental difference between ‘environmentalism’ and environmental management’, although I have been known to lean quite far left on occasion… I believe that practical solutions and not just talk and policy are the answers we need and that prevention is better than cure..particularly when it comes to carbon offsetting.
