Please excuse my random rant. I had never actually watched Meerkat Manor before tonight, but wow, they have some utterly fantastic nature footage! Then I realised why I never watched it….a perfectly good nature doco has been ruined by an annoying narrator and stupid, stupid, stupid names and storylines! “The commando’s set out after Bubbles and Fluffy who are enjoying a beautiful afternoon’. Turning nature into a soap opera really ruins it in my opinion. Throw that footage David Attenboroughs way on the other hand…

Agreed, its an awful show. If the trailer is correct, they spent 10 years gathering footage for it, a crying shame that the result is let down by bad producing.
